My cost and value
- My annual salary or cost (fully loaded, not take-home), Weeks I work per year, Hours I should work per week.
- These give My hourly cost or value, the rate applied to every hour you free.
Internal team assumptions
- Weeks worked per year, Hours per day, Days per week for your team.
- These give Team hours per year, which turns a team member’s salary into an hourly rate in the Tasks table.
Delayed hires
- Local hires I could delay: roles a support layer would cover instead. Enter 0 if none.
- A salary field appears per hire (annual, fully loaded). Local hire cost avoided totals them and is added to your value unlocked.

- FTE is the only input: 1 is one full-time assistant at 40 hours a week, 0.5 is half-time, 2 is two assistants, for each of Back-Office, Customer & Marketing and Executive & Systems Support.
- The table shows each mode’s Monthly cost and Annual cost total (monthly cost × 12 × FTE), then Hours available and Hours used a week (used hours come from your delegated tasks), Remaining, a Capacity status (Not engaged, Within, Full or Over capacity) and the Unassigned spend not yet used.
Tasks
One row per recurring piece of work. + Add task below the table adds a row; × removes one.
- Task, My hrs / wk, Team hrs / wk, and Team member salary (needed whenever team hours are entered).
- Where it sits for you or your team: Zone of genius (keep it), Excellent at but drains me, Competent but slow & drains me, or No good at & drains me.
- Delegate to: Keep changes nothing. Internal Team frees your hours but adds them to your team, so the team’s time and value go negative at that member’s rate. TVH Assistant frees your hours and your team’s and uses the FTE from step 6; pick its Delegation Mode.
- The last two columns are calculated: Value freed (me) and Value freed (team). The Totals row adds them up.
Your results, and taking them with you
- Net value unlocked per year: value released from you and your team plus local hires avoided, less the full support layer cost. Time freed every week: your hours, your team’s, and the yearly total.

Only tasks you delegate change the numbers. Handing a task to a TVH Assistant frees your hours and your team’s. Handing it to your internal team frees your hours but adds them to your team, so the team’s time and value go negative at that team member’s rate; enter their salary so those hours are costed. Tasks you keep count for nothing. Execution Assistant costs are spread over an 8-hour day, 5 days a week, 48 weeks a year. The support layer cost is always the full annual cost of the FTE you engage, whether or not every hour is assigned; unassigned spend shows what is still available to delegate. If you delegate more hours than the FTE provides, the cost of those hours is used instead and the capacity table flags the level to increase. All figures are estimates in US dollars and are not a quote.
